Hardy Lake Shale Bluff Campgrounds

Hardy Lake has a 740 acre lake with great fishing and it allows water skiing. It has hiking trails, beach, picnic area, and 2 campgrounds. Hunting is allowed during normal hunting seasons which include deer and wild turkey hunting. Both campgrounds are open year round with electric available at each site in Shale Bluff Campground.

Scottsburg/Raintree Lake KOA is located 4 miles West of Interstate 65, on 30 private acres, with a 7-acre catch & release fishing and recreation lake. We offer 50/30/20 AMP sites and deluxe and rustic camping cabins. Some sites stay open through the winter with full hookups. Campers enjoy a new saltwater pool, outdoor pavilion, and clubhouse. The park offers multiple activities for both children and adults, such as outdoor games, kayak, paddle boat & pedal cart rentals, and live music on holiday weekends.

Hardy Lake is a 741 acre lake surrounded on all sides by limestone and rocky bluffs, caves and great fossils. The state's Division of Parks and Reservoirs maintains both primitive and modern camping sites in the park surrounding the lake. The park also includes a public swimming beach, bathhouses, and hiking trails.
