Scott County Visitors Commission will be hosting a special seminar for any interested Scott County organizations or event planning committee on:

Program Overview:

Understanding how to budget helps create financial stability. By tracking expenses and following a plan, a budget makes it easier to account for a project or festival success. It allows organizations to build revenue, establish an emergency fund, or save and allocate dollars for major projects or upfront expenses.

By the end of this seminar, you will understand the importance of a budget and how working your budget puts an organization on a stronger financial footing for both the day-to-day of your festival, events, and special projects and eventually creates long-term stability and growth.

Motivation to Attend:

This seminar is FREE to attend, plus as an incentive, the Scott County Visitors Commission will contribute $50 to each organization with representation for the duration for this seminar.

Instructor:

Your instructor for this program has over 40 years of successful professional event management experience from special projects director for a major festival marketplace in downtown Indianapolis to coordination of major festivals, consumer shows, sporting event, fundraisers to international events and conferences.
